I have written about this restaurant several times and can, want and have to say that nothing has changed despite these difficult times ... Food still fresh and tasty. In terms of price, nothing has changed since corona. Price / performance - top ... So all in all a really worthwhile visit

The food was delicious. The waiter was rude; the awesome thing was that as a hotel guest (Hetzel Hotel zum Löwen), entitled to a special dinner, I did not receive it, since I would have ordered from the normal menu. People! You really need it! You won't see me anymore!

Unfriendly service with long waits. We went over the hotel to the restaurant and sat there in a corner. We were not recognized as hotel guests, nor wondered if we were. For hotel guests there is still an extra weekly ticket. When asked about the courts, no alternatives to unwanted supplements were shown. Just as it says in the map and no way different! And although this is said to cook fresh ... We had to wait for the food for half an hour. Other guests who came after us had their food much earlier. On demand where the food stays I was treated very rude. "I can not give a salmon raw [...] which just takes so long [...] then the next time to McDonald's if it should go fast." Asked again 3 minutes later, as it should supposedly already finished. Food was just done on the plate and after all offers to go without paying. Food was ok. Nothing special. My order was not correct (wrong burger), but I did not complain. Salmon was ok too but never needs a fresh salmon for half an hour as claimed. Steaming or roasting on the skin side for a few minutes and the salmon fillet is ready! Then the unfriendly tone of the service became friendlier and there were some apologies. Drinks were taken over as compensation by the restaurant. Overall, for a hotel that wants 4 stars, with this affiliated natural restaurant has been quite a disappointment. 2 stars only, since the food was ok and at the end was apologized. Addendum: Stayed for a while and talked. Then we were offered a free desert as an apology. This was really good. Such a friendly tone and helpful behavior I would have liked from the beginning.

This is my very first Google review, but with full conviction - This restaurant deserves a lot of praise! Meanwhile, we come regularly for lunch. Today personally served by the boss: very friendly, communicative, considerate and down to earth! The food is very varied, the lunch menu leaves nothing to be desired. Fish, meat, vegetarian dishes and daily and fresh. The quality and the taste is really good. A lot is homemade, you can taste it too! In addition: the P / L ratio is unbeatable. I have been relying on good restaurants for lunch 5 times a week for many years. This one has never disappointed and is one of my favorites! Not unimportant either: No parking problems, large outdoor area. We recommend!

Great food. We have been here twice, the food is really delicious! We each had a different waiter. The first was not necessarily super friendly but ok. Unfortunately, he did not bother to separate the bill for our table and did not ask for it. We had to shake it apart, which unfortunately gave no tip. The second one was better, but somehow the two are going to laugh in the cellar. Nevertheless, I would come back because the food is really good !!!

A man server is little hard to communicate... However this restaurant is romantic and beautiful!

Very cozy restaurant in the Stuttgart district of Wangen. The food is good home-style cooking in a reasonable portion size. Onion roast beef good, but a little too well done for my taste. Delicious cellar beer and finally a Williams from the 85-year-old schnapps distiller. Delicious! Great service, the boss serves himself and always has a nice word for his guests ...

Cozy place, good food. Only thing but I take it for granted, the waiter allowed himself to ask me for a tip. Tipping is a voluntary gesture and must be earned but not asked how limosina.
